Join us for Christmas at the Orchard this year, for a fun, family-friendly evening of Christmas lights, photos with Santa, music and pizza – what better way to see out the year!
Being only 45 minutes from Perth, the Chittering Valley provides you with the perfect opportunity to feel a world away, and get you in the Christmas spirit.
Meet Santa in his Grotto and get your photo taken with him. Photos will be emailed to our visitors after the event. (no printed photos are included, however you can print your photo as many times as you want).
Christmas Lights Display
Experience the beauty of tranquil orchard evenings as you stroll amongst the orange trees, festively lit up with fairy lights. Several Christmas lights displays give you the chance to capture some fun family photos.
Live Festive Music (Acoustic)
Each evening there will be a professional acoustic singer performing Christmas classics and some favourites for everyone. Don't be shy to join in the singing! We apologise for our singing in advance 🙂
Feeding the Family
Taste our delicious pizza, cooked fresh on site - included in your ticket price. Adults get three pizza slices per person and children over the age of 2, get a small personal pizza (gluten and lactose free options available). Drinks not included but can be bought from home or purchased from the Orchard Cafe.
Food and Drink:
Freshly cooked Pizza is included in the price of the ticket for paying guests. Once you have collected your pizza you can relax in our picnic areas (you may want to bring a picnic blanket as seating cannot be guaranteed for all guests).
Our cafe will also be open for sales of coffee, teas, snacks, ice cream sundaes and classic home-baked Mince Pies.
Gates open at 6pm and close at 9pm.
Enter anytime between those times, you don’t have to be there at 6pm and do not need to stay until 9pm. Pizza, music and Santa photos start at 6pm and finish at 9pm.
The lights will be visible at around 7pm once the sun has gone down and the natural light fades.
Numbers capped at 150 people per night, so you can enjoy in a stress free environment.
Under the current regulations Children will not be able to sit on Santa’s lap for photos, but will be able to sit next to him without physical contact.
If the rules change at any point before the event which allows physical contact, guests will be given the option of having their child sit on Santa’s lap.

No, unfortunately, this is a ticketed event only. Tickets can be purchased online here.
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food to consume in the designated picnic areas. No outside food can be consumed in the Cafe of Cafe garden.
Yes, you may bring alcohol to enjoy in the picnic area, but you won’t be able to walk around the lights or visit Santa with alcohol. Please drink responsibly.
Yes, the Packing Shed will be open for fruit and juice purchases.
